There was no north leg, so more of a U than a ring.Everyone brings up the Ring Road that London blew it's chance on having in the 80's (?) They just let people continue to build on roads like Medway and Sunningdale, so that now, even if you want a ring-road, you'll have to pay to demolish all sorts of stuff.This town is hopeless as far as roads go, and I firmly believe they always will be. Extened Veterans at Huron straight thru and bend west towards Clarke and connect just south of the UTRCA entrance.

We can't even do "last resort" correctly.One issue with ring roads is that they tend to create "inner" and "outer" regions of cities and the various problems that arise from those distinctions (think EOA on steroids) but I've always felt the expressway from some point off the 401 in the east to the north end would facilitate growth helpfully.
