A well-traveled friend pronounced his pasta dish “the best fettuccine I ever had,” thanks to butter “exclusively from the village of Echire in western France” — and a heap of fresh black Burgundy truffles ($42).I never saw a potato-chip omelet ($19) before, but they swear it’s a real thing from a Paris bistro — a drippy-soft omelet with a few potato chips around it and Kaluga caviar on top. Service was outstanding. That seems like the type of question that led to Cathédrale, a new restaurant from the Tao Hospitality Group in the Moxy East Village. !Had a great experience!

Useful 1.

Overall staff were nice and attentive. My friend also tried it and even expressed worse than I have, so that's 2 peoples opinion. An outdoor dining terrace with a retractable roof is another hidden surprise. For parties of 5 or more, a credit card is required to secure the reservation. Dinner and food... nothing special INMHO.Great outdoor dining set up, service was immaculate, food was great!Doing a fine job in an outdorr space...interesting wine listThe food was fine. But while “bouillabaisse Tetou” ($43) brimmed with fine rouget, cod and shellfish, the broth was too timid — beyond saffron, it needed more spice and Pernod. It’s loud but not unbearably so. Starters were fine too. The staff was so nice and even offered to take picture for us.
