It has been portrayed in everything from classic literature (Dante, Milton) to paintings (Yang Xuego, Zdzislaw Beksinski) to video games (Doom, Diablo), but to me it seems like we've never seen the true actualization of Hell on film despite it being a canvas that is teeming with possibility.
