With a short drive into kilkee where there was plenty to do & see along with a range of bars, restaurants, takeaways & tasty bakeries. The cottages look smaller from the outside than what they are inside, the homeliness, comfort and tranquility are exceptional.

But....we.re in the country side ...say nothing. If you want to escape you have to go no further than your front door where you will be met with sprawling fields, or look out the window from your seat to see the ocean at the back.

First impressions not great. Stunning scenery all around the locality for miles around with plenty to see. Michael himself was lovely and very friendly and who reminded me very much of my own grandfather who coincidentally had his first year anniversary away from us at the time of our stay. We covered 300 miles locally apart from the journey to and from our Lovely Leitrim. One of the bedrooms was en-suite with a separate bathroom also.

When we entered the cottage the first thing that got our attention was the wonderful view out the back window across the hills into the Atlantic ocean.

Have breakfast looking out at the wild Atlantic and hopefully a visit from Selby the beautiful dog belonging to the Michael the proprioter of the Cottages.We stayed here for a week, the views are stunning, cottages have everything you need for comfortable stay.... We got a real traditional feel, cottages have some lovely character.

House overlooking large cowsheds set into the hillside below us with associated country smells. Generally dirty and grotty could do with new plates,cups,cutlery.ryg was dusty and filthy so we rolled it up.Altogether beautiful views,beautiful beach close by clean and safeUnfortunately we only had 3 nights in this little haven.What a wonderful place !
