Not an especially 'nice' character, again, but it showed me that it can be used most effectively as a name!It's true.
The diminutive of Gwendolyn, Gwen, has come to stand as a name for a daughter. This story line of using King Arthur and Excalibur's lineage was genius. It combined historical fiction and fantasy in such a way that was so fun to read.
