Please check with the restaurant directly. I had the salmon cake meal. I feel like the should have managed my case different, instead I left I deleted by the customer lady and was asked to leave. I've been to Highlands twice now, and have had a great experience on both occasions. Anyway, thank you Highlands for making healthy taste so good.Been here twice and I absolutely love the food. There were no salmon bones to be found (which is my personal salmon pet peeve), and the rice was cooked perfectly and absorbed all the amazing caper sauce.
The sangria was good. While very tasty, the description stated there will be a lemon butter caper sauce but it was apparent in my dish. !Looking for a cost-effective, delicious, and homey breakfast/brunch experience in DC? The flavor was ok but they were nearly impossible to eat.
The grits were good but the toast should of been a little more toasted. The bun and toppings were solid but the burger itself lacked seasoning and salt-it was bland and just not up to snuff.
Their menu is a mix of American and Latin food. I ordered something that wasn't on the menu I got the vegan gyro. It's delicious!!!
