The decor of this tiny and cute little restaurant is just right.
!This place is easy to find right in the train station parking lot. But it's one of the few places that doesn't offer an obscenely over-priced menu for Valentine's Day, so we were happy with it.The service was great ! Cool 4. My group really enjoyed the wonderful ambiance too.

Heirloom Tavern - Glen Head's Newest Treasure. Once inside you get a sense of an upscale bar eatery with a small dining room that's well thought out. Heirloom Tavern boldly announced itself in January with innovative cuisine in a casual setting, occupying the former site of Fork & Vine alongside the Long Island Rail Road’s parking lot at the Glen Head station. I can't foresee The Heirloom Tavern becoming an actual heirloom in the food realm for myself and my family, but that won't stop me from coming back some time soon (gotta at least try for a "Regular" status, right?).

Higher than Bryant Cooper's, Morton's, etc. My dad said it's the best mussels of his life and my mom and sisters appetizers were just as good.
