Hearing this, Kuroh reaches for his sword and orders Neko to reveal everything. He mutters that it will be hassling and hears someone responding to him. When she exits the building, it reverts to normal, surprising him. Yashiro argues that he can find an alibi that proves he was on campus during December 7–8. He then notices that Kukuri has brought his briefcase to the room and opens it, revealing cooking utensils inside. Kuroh obliges to listen.
Afterwards, he goes across campus trying to get more people to share, even attempting to sneak food from the cafeteria. Hesitant, Kuroh obliges.Kuroh continues to stay with Yashiro and Neko through the following morning.
Eventually, he is told from Kuroh that Neko has the ability to manipulate memories, making Yashiro wonder if she can do anything about his. There, he sits by a desk and wonders about his connection with Totsuka's murder. Kuroh reminds him that if his memories prove that he is actually an evil person, he will be killed, though Yashiro does not mind it. His doubts are eventually proven thanks to Kukuri, who reveals that because Yashiro does not carry a PDA to get him off campus, he sneaks out instead.Finding Yashiro to be an insincere person, Kuroh prepares to kill him.
Adolf K. Weismann (アドルフ・K・ヴァイスマン, Adorufu Kā Vaisuman) is the main protagonist of the K anime series and the First and Silver King, formerly a researcher in Germany who experimented with the effects of the Dresden Slate. He later transfers to Ashinaka High School as a teacher and poses as a relative of Neko.
Shortly after, the city's network is hijacked to display a video of a man, who coincidentally resembles Yashiro, shooting another person on camera. Yashiro continues following Neko throughout the campus while additionally avoiding Kuroh, who still strives to kill him. Kuroh, with Neko, notice some trouble near them. While ogling the food, he notices a cleaning robot taking away his backpack.
He is then told to help with the festival production, specifically to run more errands in the city. He elaborates more on the seven Kings that rule Japan and how they, specifically the Golden King, are able to do so. Kuroh proceeds to kill Yashiro though he stops him again, persisting that he is innocent before making a request to have his words be tested. Yashiro asks Kuroh whether they should "seek" out his former master's help.
He asks again about Kuroh's recorder; once explained about its history and usage, he comments on how Kuroh is creepy.The next morning, Yashiro awakens to see that Kuroh has prepared lunch for the day.

While walking along the bridge, Yashiro stops to look out the oceanic horizon.The three eventually stop at at a restaurant in the city. Nagare, unable to break Kuroh's guard and Yashiro's shield, asks why they are so strong when they are refusing power. Yashiro unable to stand after the Damocles Down, was taken to a nearby alley by Kuroh. Kuroh says that he follows a policy where, rather than judging a man by his appearance or words, their actions are what matters more.He values points such as heroism, and people who value others over themselves. He readies himself for death. Kuroh allows him and then asks to see the letter.
It's detailed he spent over two weeks in the hospital, and only cried when he was alone and not in the presence of others.Once he recovered, Kuroh was adopted by his aunt and uncle, but a year later a fire broke out, and his aunt and uncle succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning.Following this, Kuroh faced discrimination against the rest of his family, who had deemed him an Angel of Death, despite knowing full well he is not the cause of the deaths in the family. He notices that everyone is not studying and wonders why, only to learn that they're preparing for the school festival. He asks Reisi on how much he knows about the Slate, to which Reisi humbly replies that what he knows is certainly less than what the First King knows—but he has some idea about it. Though worried, he is told not to be. Yashiro, Kuroh and Neko wait at their designated floor, expecting Yukari to come their way as discussed in the strategy meeting. He wears a black sleeved shirt with a bluish-grey infinite scarf. Yashiro argues that he is not the man he's after and that he is innocent. Once his Kukuri writes down a list of items for Yashiro to get.Yashiro then returns to class with the little cat.
