The rooms are average for the price, but the hotel is located in a really great place with just a 5min walk to the IGA or Froth, so I definitely recommend staying here if you don’t have a car to get you around. 'Due to Covid-19, the rooms are not being serviced'. They also turned on all the lights to make the rooms appear brighter. Self parking is free. They were taken by a photographer with a super wide-angled lens. Most of the rooms are hotel style rooms while the minority are self contained apartments. Don't be fooled. The split system aircon is noisy. So much so, we couldn't run it. Now look at the photos. Except they're not. The Potshot Hotel Resort caters for all.
The AC units, which aren't reverse cycle, were still noisy (being directly above the head of the bed) but the neighbours AC units didn't bother us due to being located far enough away. Full TAB facilities, Pool Table and Jukebox available.
Was a little surprised that in the four days we were there the rooms weren’t cleaned or rubbish bins emptied but overall great value and a good place to stay.Our room was a bit dated but clean and beds comfotable. Other amenities include a poolside bar, WiFi in public areas, and dry cleaning. Because I stayed here I also got a 10% discount on my whale shark swim with Exmouth dive and whalesharks, which I highly recommend as well!Stayed in a budget twin room which was basic but suited us perfectly. The Potshot Hotel Resort offers Exmouth's premier holiday accommodation. For a more relaxing feel, our Pool bar is the place to be. So, to recap, everything is small than it looks in the photos. I didn't pay much attention to the inside dining area as we didn't use it. Unless you like the set of Prisoner Cell Block H and you can afford the extra, book an apartment. The outdoor raised deck dining area is actually the nicest area of the whole resort. Postal.
