Just...wow. This place is legendary! Rip City opened its doors in 1978 as the modern era of Skateboarding was beginning...... trying to establish itself as a legitimate sport…….thankfully, that effort failed. Cheaper prices than the competition which is a few min away but whom I won't mention . I missed out not knowing this store was there. We will be going back next week to purchase some cool clothes and protective gear. Contact the business for more information about recent service changes.How is this business handling reopening? They carried Stüssy before it was the world known brand! I mean Rip City served all the best skaters.

I will not let Amazon kill local places like this.Grew up with RIP City. They are so nice too...they took their time to thoroughly answer our questions as my son is a beginner. I'll be back soon for any skateboarding accessories. I have no real experience on other boards to compare to but this feels too good to be true and I'm having an easy time getting a feel for this.

I found this Gem 40 years to late. I bought Wheels and bearings for an old board I had laying around for years. You will have a truly great experience feeling this man's compassion and dedication to a lifetime of seeing the sport of skating evolved into what it's become today. Dang.
