Is it simply a delay after receiving an input?
I think it is a problem with all visual scripting tools that they are not designed for this. And ist it only for the new coming Unity 2017.

Bolt is only for Unity 2017, because of the major scripting backend changes (.NET upgrade). A community-driven project for extending Unity Bolt with custom nodes, types, and helpers. Will there be a Demo ? First, download and import Bolt from the Asset Store.After the import completes, the Setup Wizard should open automatically. And thank you for taking the time to help us improve the quality of Unity Documentation. It seems well structured which results in a benefit of a super overview.
