Adam flies up into the sky screaming and falling to the ground passing out for a few seconds. His gaze becomes grey and blank, and he speaks to his friends in a strange voice about destroying the world and starting over. The Them are horrified. Just as the first Adam named the creatures in the Garden of Eden, great significance is attached to Adam Young’s naming of the hellhound.
He decides not to destroy the world after all and goes with the Them to Tadfield Airfield to stop the Adam states that Satan is not his real father, making it true, and Satan disappears. But Adam’s bucolic life begins to change when he turns 11. He finds an old apple tree and, like his Biblical namesake, enjoys eating some stolen fruit (344).DISCLAIMER: All material related to Good Omens is the property of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.
Storm clouds gather, thunder rumbles, and Adam changes. It is an act that confirms the Antichrist is in full possession of his powers and that Armageddon approaches on schedule.
His theory may be borne out eventually if Adam’s final words of the episode are to be believed. Adam’s bucolic life begins to change when he turns 11. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have disbanded (for now), and Adam is no longer the Antichrist, and Dog is just a dog (not a hellhound), and …
